Romantic Weekend

When my husband and I decided to take a break from the frenetic pace of our busy lives, we chose John & Lucille's Country Retreat as the place to relax and renew our spirits. What a delightful time we had! From the time we crossed the White Oak River, we were enchanted with the peace and relaxation we experienced. After a lovely dinner at a local restaurant in Swansboro overlooking the river, we enjoyed strolling along the sidewalks, exploring wares in the fascinating stores, watching the ducks and simply being in the presence of such tranquility. Back at the home, we loved sitting on the porch and listening to the peaceful night sounds and watching the moon shine brightly. We were sure this display was meant just for us! The furnishings at this retreat are so beautiful, so pleasing to the eye and incredibly comfortable! Sleepig on the luxurious sheets and wonderful bed in the John & Lucille room was heavenly! We can't wait until our next visit to this fantastic place!
