My wife and I spent three nigthts at Ka Hale Mala in August 2014 and were extremly pleased with the entire experience. Having met in Hawaii a long time ago, we were searching for a return to the "old Hawaii" and Molokai is just that - peaceful, relaxing and not overrun with either tourists or cars.
Cheryl met us at the airport so that she could show us the way to her house. At breakfast the next morning she provided us a map and highlighted all the places of interest, including the best beaches and the other activities we wanted to undertake, such as the hike to the leper colony at Kalaupapa and the hike to the nature conservancy at Moomomai.
Her breakfasts were fantastic and extremely filling, and they featured some of Cheryl's adaptations of pancakes that had fruits and nuts and other goodies in them that made them very delicious. They were a treat.
All in all, this was a wonderful experience that we would repeat.
