Top Notch Inn

We stayed at the Keystone Inn from Dec. 29, 2009, until Jan. 1, 2010. We were in the Reaser Room with a queen size bed. Very nice room on the front of the house. The owners, Mike and Marj, are cut out for the job. We would recommend this inn to other travelers, friends and family.

Fabulous

I couldn't seem to find any available short notice inns but first came across this one and grabbed it. What a lucky break! I couldn't understand why they had ANY available rooms. Maybe because people don't realize that they are within walking distance (2 blocks) of downtown Gettysburg. We had the 3rd floor room, private bath across the hall. It was wonderful! The beds were great and I slept 10 hours the first night! I can't tell you how long that has been. The breakfasts were very good, the innkeepers very social and informative. We sat on the large porch and read, we visited the battlefields, we walked to town to shop and eat. We were not dissatisfied in any way. The house has an interesting history, gardens and house well maintained.

InnSide Tip - Good Location
This inn is only two blocks from downtown Gettysburg and easy driving distance to all battlefield attractions.

First time B&B

This was our first B&B. We couldn't have been more pleased. The Inn is beautiful, tastefully decorated, rooms are clean, cheery and well appointed. The food was fabulous. The location is great! Within walking distance of downtown Gettysburg, yet far enough from the traffic and noise. Short drive to the battlefield and attractions. You won't go wrong with this B&B.

Wonderful B&B, WILL stay there again!

We love the Keystone Inn - old home, close to the historic sites, but in a neighborhood so very quiet. We stayed in the Michael Bowers Room, everyone in our party loved their rooms, all different but certainly comfortable. The mattress and pillows are wonderful and the sheets are super!!! Definitely meant for the guests to feel at home!!! The breakfasts were great and filling. No need for lunch after one of Mike's breakfasts. The breakfast included fruit juice of choice, a fresh fruit, a homemade breakfast pastry and a breakfast entrée. We spent four nights, and other than the juices we chose there was NEVER a repeat of a breakfast item. The only thing we did wrong on the trip was not plan enough time for all the sites we wanted to visit - only accomplished half of our itinerary, oh well, guess we will have to go back to The Keystone Inn again!!! Looking forward to our next visit!!

We Felt Right At Home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this very clean, very comfortable Inn. Innkeeper Mark is very friendly, personable and we enjoyed talking with him about the history of the Inn and about Gettysburg. We stayed in the General Jones room on the first floor. It has a very comfortable King size bed and two recliners we made good use of. The Inn is very clean and had any amenity you may need. Breakfast was very good each morning. Starting with a Muffin or Coffee cake, then Fruit, Entrees of Pancakes, Bacon, Sausage, French toast all hot and fresh were delicious! Juices, Coffee and Tea topped off a lovely morning meal. A home baked afternoon snack was always available and delicious! We highly recommend the Keystone Inn and intend to stay there again.
