Description
Circa 1858. Overlooking the Mississippi River, this century-old inn is located in downtown Fort Madison. Though furnished with antiques, all 17 rooms offer modern amenities and private baths (some with whirlpools and fireplaces) as well as river views. A two-bedroom, two-bath suite also is available. There is a restaurant, Alphas on the Riverfront, on the premises.

Sweet Dreams for Allergy Sufferer
My husband and I stayed here while visiting Fort Madison and I had to give this Inn a review. My husband is allergic to dust, mold, air fresheners, etc. so you can imagine our lives! This inn was spotless and had air purifiers in all the hallways! You could have eaten off the resturant floor it was so clean. Staff was friendly, decor was gorgeous! Go and see it! The best time my husband has ever had on a trip!
