Description

Circa 1881. Lovingly restored, this historic Victorian home was built in the prestigious Hill Section neighborhood. The stained glass windows, detailed woodwork and plaster with a rosette pattern complement the period furnishings and antiques. Gather for conversation and snacks in the Parlor. Choose from a pleasing selection of guest bedrooms in the main house or in the renovated 1857 Carriage House that include robes, personal products and chocolates. The Garden Spa features a two-person Jacuzzi and a kitchenette. Three breakfast options are offered in the Dining Room and Sun Porch. Enjoy homemade granola with organic vanilla yogurt and fresh fruit; an egg entrée; or pancakes, waffles or French toast. Each choice comes with meats, fruits, vegetables and baked goods. Walk to Lake Champlain waterfront and downtown shopping.

Romantic Interest

Depends on the glasses you are wearing. Each room is individually decorated and appointed. If you like a two-person Jacuzzi, you'll find the Garden Spa to be romantic. Being a city inn, most guests come here for reasons other than romance.

Minimum Stay Requirements

Two-night minimum for weekends from June-October. Some holiday weekends require a three-night minimum reservation.

We like well-behaved guests both small and large.

Cancellation

If reservation is cancelled two weeks before arrival date, advance deposit will be refunded minus 10% cancellation fee. Guests who cancel less than two weeks prior to arrival date could forfeit advance deposit if reservation is not replaced.
