Description

Circa 1859. Respectfully restored, this manor house is an antebellum treasure that sits in a rural park-like setting on 13 secluded acres with historic red cedar and white oak trees and an orchard with 22 mature pecan trees. Relax on a white rocker on the front porch with afternoon tea. Period antiques are tastefully mixed with modern reproductions for a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. Stay in an air-conditioned guest bedroom with a fireplace and down comforter. Two rooms on the first floor feature whirlpool tubs. Linger over a candlelight breakfast in the formal dining room. The bed and breakfast is conveniently located between two popular lakes, Kerr Lake and Lake Gaston.
