Boulder Climbing Adventure

The Irish Innkeeper has been on three adventures with Shawnee Adventure Guides. One was boulder climbing, the second kayaking the Cache River, and third rappelling. This holiday allows visitors to concentrate on boulder climbing exclusively, and is a joint venture with the Shawnee Adventure Guides. Climbers receive a copy of "Sandstone Warrior" by Matt Bliss to review before visiting in person. While here, Bliss or his partners in the Shawnee Adventure Guides will instruct you on safety, challenging boulder problems, and advanced climbing techniques. All instruction is geared to individual skill and fitness levels. Enjoy the peace, quiet, and tranquility of the Shawnee National Forest in Southernmost Illinois.
