Description

Circa 1857. Historic charm and modern hospitality are found in the heart of Texas Hill Country at this bed and breakfast on tree-lined Cypress Creek. Originally built as a stage coach stop in 1957, it is a registered state landmark. Scenic and peaceful, relax on the sun porch or by the fish pond. The Summer Kitchen is also a popular gathering place. Most of the suites feature free-standing porcelain and cast iron gas fireplaces. A hearty breakfast is served in the light-filled 1887 Gast Haus dining room. Stroll among groves of trees on the secluded 27-acre nature area. Swim in the oversized pool and soak in the hot tub.

Relaxing

I JUST SPENT THE MOST RELAXING WEEKEND AT THIS WONDERFUL PLACE. ITS ACCOMMODATIONS WERE PERFECTLY APPOINTED, THE GROUNDS WERE TRANQUIL AND BEAUTIFULLY MAINTAINED, THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS AND THE STAFF COULD NOT HAVE BEEN NICER. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE MEYERS BED AND BREAKFAST TO INDIVIDUALS, COUPLES, FAMILIES OR SMALL GROUPS. IT’S JUST GREAT!
