A grateful veteran
The delightful, thoughtful innkeeper, Maryann, opened the Mt. Washington B&B to veterans free of all charges, including a wonderful breakfast, on 10 November. A lovely setting--quiet, peaceful, rustic, and a view of the highest peak in the Northeast--made for a relaxing, memorable overnight.

Fall Foliage October 2008
My husband and I travelled to Maine, New Hamspshire and Vermont in October to view the fall foliage and stayed one night at the inn. The scenery around the inn was magnificient. We were fortunate to see a moose eating leaves off the side of the road on our drive there. Mary Ann warmly greeted us as we were walking up the drive and offered us a snack once we were settled in. Our room was cozy and comfortable. THe next morning we were served breakfast consisting of Mary Ann's delicious maple syrup pancakes with a choice of ham, sausage or bacon. What a great way to start the day! We enjoyed our brief stay with Mary Ann, where all of our needs were met. The Mount Washington Bed & Breakfast gets 4 hearts (all good) from us.

Perfectly Charming
My boyfriend and I toured the Atlantic from New York to Newfoundland and stayed at a lot of lovely places, this being one on the top of our list. Mary Ann and her staff were wonderful. The room was great, and breakfast was delicious. A gorgeous view of Mt. Washington. I highly recommend it.

Pleasant family stay
With my two older sons, 17 amd 15, I spent a great night at the Mount Washington B&B. The good hearty breakfast in the morning gave us a solid basis for a hike up Mount Washington. Innkeeper Mary Ann is very friendly and helpful, and the location is just beautiful.

Refuge from hiking the AT
The Mt. Washington B&B provided a wonderful refuge and
reward for several days of strenuous Appalachian Trail
hiking in the nearby White Mountains on a recent vacation.
Beautifully decorated and comfortable rooms, a hot tub to
soak tired muscles in, a warm cozy bed that we never wanted
to leave, a delicious gourmet breakfast that provided
all the energy we needed to hike back up those mountains,
and fabulous and fun conversation with host Mary Ann...
these are all the reasons we'll be coming back here on our
next vacation to this area!
