Description

Circa 1811. Built as a stagecoach tavern in 1811, this Colonial brick home on four acres of farmland has welcomed visitors for nearly two centuries. Now owned by the fourth generation of Nyes, this classic bed & breakfast has been lovingly restored and tastefully decorated with early Vermont antiques. Gather by one of the two fireplaces, watch a video, listen to a CD or play the piano in one of the many common rooms. Air-conditioned guest bedrooms are comfortable and inviting. After a hearty country breakfast stroll the flower-filled grounds or pet the sheep, goats and llamas in the pasture. Cool off with a swim in the pond and in the evening sit by a summer campfire.
