Great Time Here

We stayed at Oak Manor Inn in February, 2010 and my husband and I had a lovely time. The inn is immaculate, the beds superb and we loved the great southern breakfast. Definitely will return there.

We reserved the entire bed and breakfast for our family stay during my daughter's wedding. The reservations were made last fall. Upon arrival we were told that Duke Power employees were staying there and had decided to extend their stay. The owner said there was nothing he could do and did not honor our reservations. The only thing he did was call a local hotel to see if they had open rooms and we ended up staying in a dump. This was clearly his way of getting rid of us for more money. Thank you Oakmanor Inn for ruining my time in Hartsville and giving me a terrible memory associated with my daughter's wedding. Even though they have a 48 hour cancellation policy..we did not even get a phone call from them. Don't expect a room even if you reserve it 9 months in advance. I am sure that I would have been charged for not showing up. Don't count on your reservation being honored if someone with a better deal shows up ahead of you.
