Description
Circa 1825. Ionic columns and a second-story veranda grace the exterior of this Greek Revival home, which was used originally as an inn. From the turn of the century until the mid 1980s, the home served as a Catholic girls' school. Today, the home once again serves travelers, both as hotel and restaurant. Guest rooms are furnished with antiques and reproductions. The restaurant serves up Bayou favorites such as fried alligator, catfish, crawfish, frog legs, as well as other seafood and steak specialties.
