Well-appointed guest bedrooms and luxury suites offer a variety of romantic amenities that may include whirlpools as well as views of Madeline Island and Lake Superior. The two-story Fountain Cottage is just uphill. Beautiful!

This beautifully restored mansion was a pleasure to visit. The room was exquisite. With the double whirlpool and comfortable Tempur-Pedic bed, we almost never missed a TV. Although they do have WiFi and satellite radio. The breakfast included with our stay was quite satisfying, however a larger breakfast may be purchased if you are so inclined. The staff and owner were very knowledgeable of the area and its history. They also invited us to take a peek at the other unoccupied rooms. The only downfall to our stay was the expense. The rooms are quite a bit more than most B&Bs. As lovely as it is, this place will only be for special occasions.
