Describe Garden and Grounds

The Old Town GuestHouse is in the city and has limited garden space. We do, however, have enough room in our small garden and on our patio to grow some of the herbs we feature in or on our breakfasts.

Indian Paintbrush

A suite with a daybed alcove, this room is decorated with native American artifacts with an organic log bed. The area in front of the fireplace is a place to read or have quiet conversation. The hot tub overlooks the city and Pikes Peak. Queen-size and twin-size bed. (daybed alcove for third person $20 extra)

African Orchid

A mosquito-netted four posted bed right "out of Africa" dominates this room. It is decorated with the artifacts and photographs from the Serengeti. From the private hot tub high above the street you look out over the front range. This room exceeds ADA requirements for accessibility. Queen-size bed.

Oriental Poppy

This spacious room has poppy red walls and artifacts from all over Asia. From the hot tub on the private porch you have an unobstructed view of Pikes Peak and the Garden of the Gods. Queen-size bed.

Victorian Rose

This romantic room has Bordeaux red walls and a hot tub. From the "hearts of the west" bed you can see the fireplace and watch the sunset over Pikes Peak. Queen-size bed.

Colorado Columbine

Enter a Colorado ski and fishing lodge where the navy blue walls surround the plaid and denim accessories. Enjoy the cozy sitting area in front of the fireplace. Sit on the porch and enjoy the city scape and after a day of sightseeing enjoy the steam shower. King-size bed.

Old Town Cactus

The artwork commemorates the cowboy poetry society. Two-person steam shower and Queen-size bed. Enjoy the sunset over Pikes Peak from the private balcony.

Moroccan Jasmine

A delightful cheerful room decorated with authentic ethnic Moroccan artifacts. Spacious bath with a two-person steam shower; Queen-size bed. Watch the street from the second floor balcony.

Wildflower Wreath

Enter the Tropics - bits of coral and sea stars decorate this room. There is a standard shower and a single sink. This value room has no access to the outside. Queen-size bed

Great place to stay!

This was the warmest welcome we've ever gotten, outside of staying with family. Don and Shirley are the perfect combination of hosts and managers. The inn is beautiful, the room was very comfortable, breakfasts were delicious, there are restaurants of many nationalities within walking distance, Garden of the Gods is a short drive.... We wished we could have stayed longer!
