Winter retreat
We came for a winter business stay but were pleasantly surprised by the cozy electric fireplace, comfortable beds and little extras as well as the hospitality. I fell ill during my stay and appreciated the owner's concern as well as the ease with which they extended my stay til I felt well enough to travel. Those experiences help make a friendly and accommodating establishment really stand out. Nice, walkable neighborhood in an out-of-the-way spot that is quiet and relaxing. The extras, including the very well-stocked pantry were pleasant extras that we very much appreciated.

ROMANTIC
We have visited Juneau now in the summer and winter, and it has its own special beauty both times. We recently stayed at Pearson's Pond in the winter, and found it to be cozy, romantic and inviting. The rooms were attractively decorated without being overwhelming or stuffy. My husband doesn't like to stay at B&B's that are too 'pink', so Pearson's Pond suited his style. It was very nice to have a kitchenette and mini-fridge, as we don't always like to eat out. It also had a stocked pantry we could access which was very convenient. We enjoyed visiting and would definitely come back.

romantic
Great honeymoon! We loved our stay at Pearson's Pond. Diane and Steve were very warm and hospitable, and the place itself was immaculate and the bed was too comfortable! (so comfortable that we tried to immitate it when we got home with softer sheets) Great stay!!
Plus, all our excursions were booked for us when we got there. We never had to try to figure anything out.

Wonderful Experience!
We love Pearson’s Pond! My wife and I got married in Juneau in June 2011. Pearson’s Pond provided our accommodations for over a week, planned our wedding, hosted our reception, and arranged a week’s worth of Juneau excursions for us and our two families. Maryann, Rachael and Rick did an amazing job and were so much fun to work with and spend time with. I can’t praise them enough for the excellent job they did, as well as their professionalism. Every single detail was planned and executed to perfection, from our wedding on the glacier, to the reception at their location, to the excursions throughout SE Alaska, to the immaculate accommodations at their Bed & Breakfast. They are truly worth their AAA Four Diamond luxury rating, with every aspect of the accommodations being top notch. They had delicious breakfast, multiple hot tubs, serene location, and the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on! My wife and I are experienced travelers, both domestic and International, and Pearson’s Pond is by far the highest quality location we have ever stayed at. We HIGHLY recommend staying at Pearson’s Pond!! It was a week we will always remember, and we are already planning on our next trip back!

Wedding Was Awesome
We were married on Mendenhall Glacier in July, 2010. Rachael and her family took care of every detail to make it a truly awesome and memorable event. We are looking forward to returning for our 5th anniversary.

Best Wedding!
Pearson's Pond was the absolute best place to plan a glacier wedding! We were amazed at the service, the quality, the efficiency. It was completely worry free, easy and yet over the top wonderful. They added sweet touches and made our day exactly what we wanted. The staff of Pearson's Pond treated us like family.

Maryanne has a wonderful place. The views are incredible, the landscaping is ideal for Alaska and the grounds are absolutely beautiful. Maryanne makes you feel comfortable the moment she sees you and is at your side every step of the way.

Perfect setting for a family vacation
Our large family of 12 spent a week at Pearsons Pond last summer. Our innkeeper Maryanne, helped us with reservations for Tracy Arm Cruise, Whale Watching and Salmon Bake. She has a wealth of knowledge as far as "what to do and see" in the Juneau area. Good advice for restaurants and shopping, too.

Perfect setting for relaxation
Pearsons Pond is located away from the hustle and tourist filled areas of Juneau. The Inn is on a quiet residential street. It is a short drive to the airport, glacier, dock and city sights. Hot tubbing was a welcome respite from a busy day. The pond and grounds are lovely and depending on the weather, would be ideal for a BBQ and/or outdoor eating.

Beautiful Setting, Excellent Hospitality
Pearson's Pond is a great place to stay. The setting is beautiful, and the hospitality excellent. Maryann is the perfect B&B host -- full of great information and always ready and able to help her guests explore the area or obtain whatever services they are looking for. The house is beautifully maintained, and the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed.
