Great Romantic Getaway

Took a long weekend to getaway at the Pilot Knob Inn. The suite we chose was the Penthouse Suite it had a hottub in the living room with Mountain view! The room was very clean and the owners was extremely nice. We loved it and have told everybody. I wouldn't change a thing about Pilot Knob Inn & Great Breakfast too!

Romantic Getaway

I booked this cabin as a getaway for my fiance and we had a wonderful time. The place couldn't have been any better. The cabin was immaculate inside and out. We took out a paddleboat and took a stroll thru the woods it was so romantic with the real wood burning fireplace. We will be back we cannot wait! Trish

Our New Favoriate B&B

We have been tent campers for many years. Normally, we only go to Bed and Breakfast Inns for our late December anniversary. However, we have spent the last two summers traveling many different directions, caring for elderly family members. With a new school year facing us, we desperately needed the camping experience without the hassles. Pilot Knob has been the perfect place! Our cabin is nestled among the trees, with plenty of space from other cabins. Even though we can hear traffic from the nearby highway, we feel as if we are a thousand miles away. The historic cabins are a marvelous blend of tobacco-era construction with modern convenience - a remarkable redemption of a bit of North Carolina history. We have found greatly-needed privacy, wonderful breakfasts, and scenic pool, and best of all, a pace slow enough to renew our bodies and souls. This place and its innkeepers are the best we have found!

InnSide Tip - Mobility Access
The tobacco cabins have a stairway that leads to the bedroom upstairs. The beautiful bathrooms are on the lower level. If you have mobility issues, there are other equally-delightful choices with everything on one level. Same great food. Same wonderful service. Same ambiance. So, don\\\'t let your mobility issues keep you away from this remarkable inn.
