Circa 1775. On more than six landscaped acres including century-old trees, three ponds and a dozen perennial flower beds stands the Pinecrest Cottage, a 1,400-square-foot, five-room guesthouse with one bedroom. Guests are afforded full privacy, and may even cook their own breakfast with food provided in the fully stocked kitchen. Summer visitors enjoy tennis and swimming on the grounds. Fall visitors enjoy the colors of autumn, and winter visitors see the landscape blanketed with snow. Nearby attractions include Churchill Downs and Derby museum, Louisville Slugger Museum, the Louisville Zoo, and various restaurants and antique shops.
