Circa 1922. Poised in a residential neighborhood in the Chestnut Hill National Historic District of Asheville, North Carolina, Princess Anne Hotel is one mile from downtown. Enjoy the sophisticated appeal of this recently renovated 1922 three-story shingle B&B-style boutique hotel. Gather for wine and appetizers on the veranda or in the parlor. Relax on one of the covered porches or in the garden. Walk through the French doors into the living room accented by a large stone fireplace or browse through the library. Stay in a guest bedroom with modern, upscale amenities. The deluxe and grande suites feature mini kitchens and can be adjoining. A satisfying breakfast is served daily in the dining room. The scenic Blue Ridge Parkway, Biltmore Estate and Pisgah National Forest are nearby.

European feel

We had a lovely experience at the Princess Anne and will be back. The rooms are spacious and the afternoon wine and appetizers were exceptional. We also found the staff to be above average.
