Wonderful stay here at Quill Haven, it was quiet, beautiful. "A perfect country getaway" we were looking for. And we must say breakfast was excellent especially the "apple bread." I must call you for the recipe. You guys are wonderful hosts and very friendly. Looking forward to see you again.

A Gourmet Delight

Charmer

Right form the moment we pulled up the driveway we knew this B&B was a charmer. And with each step that charm only grew. Katie and Craig are spectacular people and instantly welcome you as a friend and not just a guest! Craig, you are a sweetheart for giving us your inn's "killer kittens" sign :) If the breakfast tomorrow is anything like our greeting; we can hardly wait! The anticipation is mind boggling! The Garden Room

What a wonderful respite on our trip from Michigan to Maryland. Our hostess Katie met us outside as we were on our way into the B&B. Very welcoming and showed us around her home. Later as we went out to get our luggage, we met Craig, Katie's husband, and he showed us the interior of the wonderful barn that is a part of their property. Having only been the new owners for three weeks - their home seem like they have been here for a very long time. The gourmet breakfast was wonderful and we had a nice visit with Katie and her mother. Will be sure to stop here again when we are on our way to visiting our daughter in Maryland.

Lovely

What a beautiful house! Our room is lovely - and everything is so clean. We had a good night's sleep and woke up refreshed and hungry. Our breakfast was delicious and so beautifully presented. Thank you to Katie and Debbie (the two people we met) for everything you did to make our stay so enjoyable. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Good luck with the B&B in the future. One of the Best

Quill Haven one of the best B&B's we've stayed!! 1-3 inches of snow was forecast and we received 8-9 inches - 0 degree wind chill :( Craig was out there shoveling and cleaning off the cars, never ending job! Katie's food was super!! Would stay again - thanks Craig & Katie

Love Everything

I am so sad to leave the first place I can call my home away from home. I love everything about this place and what I appreciate the most is the flexibility. Katie was so wonderful and never missed a beat when my schedule would change or I would come a day early. I can truly say I will never find another place like this again. Absolutely Charming

My husband and I stayed in the Bridal Suite for our mini-honeymoon, and it was a true delight. The suite is gorgeous and plush with an incredibly luxurious private bath (and deliciously scented handmade soaps!). Every aspect of the inn was warm and welcoming. The owner was a wealth of information, helpful beyond expectation, and gave perfect directions. Breakfast was delicious and the portions were by no means scarce. The handmade glass lamps in every room and the countless little hedgehogs give the inn a special flair that does not at all detract from the elegant Victorian charm of the rooms. Despite the impeccable service, cleanliness, and luxury, the rooms are very modestly priced and my husband and I cannot wait to plan another stay for a romantic getaway!

Romantic Inn W/Great Hosts

The bridal suite was beautifully decorated to display it's theme, along with a lovely and huge bathroom. The proprietors were very helpful and especially friendly! We would have loved to stay longer but we couldn't. Really enjoyed the farm atmosphere w/playful goats and chickens. Hope to return and stay longer!

4th visit; it's that good!

The Quill Haven Country Inn is one of the best Inn's I've ever visited. My last trip was my fourth stay with Carol and Rowland. They make me feel like one of the family and will bend over backwards to make your stay with them special and Carol's breakfast selections are to die for!!!!!! They are located in the Somerset area which gives visitors to this area of the Laural Highlands lots of options for adventure. I live in the Pittsburgh area and for me a quick road trip leads me to Quill Haven.
