Description
Circa 1892. This gracious brick home, a National Register building, is located on the banks of the Arkansas River, three miles from town. It was once the poor farm, a home for the indigent who worked for food and lodging before the welfare system became established. The house has been renovated to reflect a country-eclectic style and has six newly decorated guest rooms, most enhanced by mountain views. The location is ideal for anglers, rafters, hikers, bikers and skiers. A 13-bed, third floor is great for groups. A full country breakfast, afternoon refreshments and evening brandy and sherry complete a memorable visit to the River Run Inn.
