Circa 1914. History, hot springs, and culinary delights combine for an exquisite adult-only experience. Known as "The Honeymoon Hotel" because of its elegance, the inn has hosted dignitaries including President Theodore Roosevelt and is the only full-service hotel in town. Eighteen individually decorated guest rooms range from a queen bed with wood floors graced by a traditional wool area rug to a junior suite boasting a king bed, sitting area, shower, and clawfoot tub. All guest rooms feature a private bathroom, individual air conditioning, and a ceiling fan. All guests are treated to a continental breakfast each morning. Onsite spa services include complimentary soaks in the hot mineral springs facilities for guests of the inn; massage services are also available. Sample Northwest inspired cuisine at the Portneuf Grille & Lounge; the restaurant is housed in the historic confectionary and sandwich shop. Many events are held at the inn including wine tastings and musical performances.
