Charming getaway

I've stayed in a number of b&b's and Sherwood Forest is the reason I like staying in this type of accomodation. The wrap-around porch is the perfect place for an early cup of coffee or glass of afternoon wine. Each room is different in decor and character-from romantic to whimsical-and that's another reason I truly enjoy SF. The breakfasts are delicious and quite beautiful. This old home is located on a quiet street and is an easy walking distance from Lake Michigan which has lots of old and new homes to view-a great romantic walk. The owners offer helpful advice for shopping and dining. This is a perfect weekend getaway location.

Great experience - exceeded our expectations!

We had never stayed in a B&B and did not know what to expect. This place exceeded our expectations. Keith and Sue were kind, helpful in their recommendations around town, and make a mean breakfast. We stayed in the Treetops Room - looks better in person than it does online, very clean, and quiet. Location was great - within walking distance to the beach and away from town, but still within a 5 min drive to Douglas and Saugatuck's

Beautifully appointed, Great location!!

Beautifully appointed rooms. Excellent location. Less than one minute's walk from the cliff/beach road and just a couple of minute's drive from beautiful Saugatuck. Sherwood Forest B&B is located on a very quiet street in a beautiful and serene neighborhood. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a lovely place to unwind. The hosts were extremely friendly and gave us lots of information on things to do and see nearby.

Enjoyed

We enjoyed our weekend in the forest, the atmosphere was perfect, and your suggestions on where to eat and how to get around was very appreciated. Thanks for remembering our anniversary.
