This is our first bed & breakfast stay - thank you for such an amazing time! We loved the cottage. Getting to relax out in front of the cottage asu the sunset on a beautiful view of Green Lake! We enjoyed walking the grounds and reading the history of the Spicer Castle. Your staff is to be commended on a wonderful job! We'll be back.

We enjoyed the room because it overlooked the lake. The bed was comfy and the whirlpool relaxing. The big towels by the whirlpool where nice as were the chocolates on the desk. We enjoyed our 25th anniversary.

This place is a Dirty Rundown Dump.. There Website is very misleading. When we pointed this out and refused to stay. they refused to refund our money. There are plenty of other High Quality B&B's to stay at... This one is not it! How uninviting, no place to sit at night, but some old woodedn tables. rooms are small and dirty. Please trust me on this one.

Friday Get-A-Way

My wife and I had a very good time visting Spicer Castle. We stayed in Eunice's room. The decor was a bit different from the website picture, but was prett comfortable. The food was fantastic and worthy of any 4 or even 5 star dining experience. The mystery dinner was very fun, although we did not get our "script" until we arrived which did not give us much time to prepare. The staff were very friendly. We only had a few negatives. First, it was very hot in the B&B at the time we stated. While there are window A/C units and fans in the rooms ans other areas, it was very uncomfortable for some Also, it may be time to take a power washer or broom to some areas to clear off spider webs outside. There are also a few cracked windowpanes. So, a little TLC is needed on the grounds. In spite of the few negatives, it was overall a very enjoyable experience and we would go back for another stay.

Love this cozy, peaceful inn

We had a wonderful stay at our cozy little rustic cottage (Raymond's). The staff are cordial and the breakfast was quite tasty and very rich. Spicer Castle is a peaceful, quiet place to get away. Love the view from the little outdoor patio. We will be using this as our go-to winter resort from now on.

Wonderful B&B on the Lake

My Fiancé and I only stayed for a night, but it was wonderful! We enjoyed using the dock for fishing; the breakfast was delicious and informative. The grandson of the original owners still runs the B&B and he gave us a history of the mansion and the city, he was very sweet and very interesting to listen too during breakfast. The cabin we stayed in was very clean and cozy! It has a nice fireplace, large Jacuzzi, and the best part, NO TV :-) The staff was fabulous and kind. The best part of course was the views and the property itself. It was very nice to just sit outside, drink some wine, watch everyone on the lake, and be able to relax in the beauty of it all. We are definitely going back!
