Bottom Line: We Love It!

...the rooms are fantastic, clean, well furnished and appointed, in a great location with a friendly and helpful staff. The breakfasts are very nice. The sherry and cookies are great. Your winter prices are very reasonable and (the) Wine & Dine Special is very good. We have stayed at Steamboat Inn for our wedding anniversary the past two years and have already reserved Ariadne (Room 1) for...2014! Bottom Line: we love it!

We Were Delighted

My wife and I came to Mystic to celebrate her birthday; we were delighted with the hospitality we found at the Steamboat Inn. Our accommodations were spacious, well appointed and clean. We particularly liked that our room overlooked the dock of the river; we also liked that our room was adjacent to the common room where we enjoyed your lovely breakfasts. The setting was intimate, warm and friendly. The staff was always helpful and resourceful. We are so glad we visited Mystic and had the good sense to stay with you!

We expect to stay there every year for a long time to come

As always, we enjoyed our stay immensely. We've been coming down to the Steamboat Inn since our honeymoon and this was our fourth year in a row. We expect to stay there every year for a long time to come. We are also entertaining the idea of coming down in February for a winter weekend getaway. The staff were courteous and extremely efficient. The room was immaculate, comfortable and above all else considering the days we spent there, very cool! We enjoyed the breakfast, as always...All and all, I and my wife were very pleased, which is not a surprise for us and as always, we will recommend to anyone wanting to spend time in Mystic, that they stay at the Steamboat Inn.

We Wanted to Treat Ourselves

This was our first stay at the Steamboat Inn. It was absolutely wonderful. If the excellent room could be overshadowed by anything it would be the incredible service. Everyone who works at your inn is so friendly and helpful. We don't often travel or stay in hotels for financial reasons but we wanted to treat ourselves as it was our 5 year anniversary. We had such a wonderful experience that we're going to try to find a way to come back. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.

A Slice of Heaven

My husband and I stayed at the Inn at the beginning of our car trip after 9 days in NYC. We thought we had found a slice of heaven when we drove into Mystic and when were shown to our room we knew that this was going to be a very special way to begin our holiday. the room was beautiful with an open fireplace with real wood, and a large bed which was quite high, allowing you to look our on the river. As night fell the colours on the river changed - and so with whiskey in hadn, fire burning and crackling and a beautiful view, we felt very content. The room was beautifully appointed with books, framed pictures and a comfortable lounge. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the dining room but felt very sad that we had only booked for a one night stay. We loved the Steamboat Inn in Mystic and we will always treasure the memory. Thank you!

Absolutely wonderful

We had a great time at Steamboat Inn & Mystic. It was a perfect & beautiful location! Everything about the Inn was absolutely wonderful - the room, the view, the food, the service! Thank you for making our weekend getaway a memorable one!

The Best!

This is the best Inn! Great staff, outstanding bathroom, the most comfortable bed, and a view from the Mystic room to die for. To top it off, it's right on the water and downtown so you can walk almost anyplace in Old Town. I wish we could give it more than 5 stars.
