Treated like family
We stayed at this Inn while attending a train show in York. My husband and I prefer to find Inns and B&Bs for our travels rather than chain hotels. We like the smaller size, the quietness, and the charm of decorations that aren't the same old, same old from room to room and hotel to hotel.
We were warmly welcomed and check-in was efficient. Our innkeeper took us to our room, instead of just pointing us towards it, and entered with us to show us where things were locsted, like the thermostat, bathroom light switch, etc. The Inn even has ice already in place in the ice bucket so we don't have to go chasing it down!
The central area of the Inn has a community room with TV, comfortable furniture, games and a Keurig coffeemaker with assorted coffees and teas. That was so nice.
Breakfast was good, and far more food than we wanted.
Everyone was super friendly and so helpful and so genuinely glad we were there! We'll tell all of our friends to stay here when in the area!
