Description
Circa 1860. Celebrate a love story in this inn that pays homage to the couple that founded the town. Thomas Ashburn named the hamlet Susanna to honor his wife; years later, Susanna and New Richmond merged into one town. Rooms feature exposed brick walls or fireplaces that add an experience of the home's history while unique bathroom fixtures add opulence and fun for romantic weekends. Curl up with a book by the fireplace in the library or sit on a sunny bench in the garden. Crackling flames from the outdoor fire pit make for special evenings of togetherness. Couples often want to host outdoor weddings at the inn because you can walk down the grass aisle past blooming flowers and say your vows under the trees with the Ohio River in the background. Nearby you can sip wine while listening to live music at the GreenKayak Market or drive 30 minutes into Cincinnati.
