Description

Circa 1650. Enjoy the luxury of a stately English manor at this elegant inn, located in one of the oldest communities in the United States. A colonial revival staircase leads upstairs to the guest rooms, which offer such unique features as exposed beams, antique wall paneling, fireplaces or clawfoot bathtubs. Rooms facing the front enjoy a view of the picture-perfect town pond and green, and rooms facing the back look over the formal English garden. Relax in the comfortable Great Room, with ample books and reading lamps, and grand piano. A sumptuous breakfast of apple tarts or lemon pancakes can be enjoyed inside or out in the garden. It's just a short walk to unusual shops, galleries, nature trails and some of the finest beaches on the Atlantic Coast.
