Description

Circa 1904. This attractive, three-story Colonial Revival home is listed in the National Register of Historic Places, as is the entire town of Wallace. Original parquet wood floor, antiques and memorabilia combine to lend an authentic aura of the past. Each of the five guest rooms offers a unique feature, such as a fireplace, balcony or wall of windows. The innkeepers are well-versed in their home's history, and guests are welcome to look over a photographic record of the house and its former owners. A backyard hot tub provides views of the mountains and creek, while the large front porch invites slowing down with its swing and rocking chairs. Guests can enjoy birdwatching on the property. Recreational activities abound in the vicinity, famous for its silver mines. There are also museums nearby.
