We love this b and b in a quiet little town that is bustling with things to do. Teresa Marie makes the best breakfasts too! Don is a gracious host. Grand Rapids is quaint but has a state park nearby, a canal boat ride, fishing and many nice restaurants and shops in town. There are festivals, plays and music galore or just sit and rest for a spell along the river.

Stay Away!

Terrible experience! Would not recommend to anyone! Accommodations were lackluster and the house was cluttered with personal items of the host. For instance, there was a laundry basket full of clothes in our closet in our room. Hostess was not overly friendly and made us feel like intruders instead of guests. We purchased a murder mystery package and expected it to be somewhat theatrical and at the bed and breakfast. However, it was held at the host's restaurant across the street. The game was literally a 1990's game that included a few character scripts and a tape player that recapped the game. So lame! The restaurant food was subpar and we were given menus during the game. Since obviously no effort had been put into the evening otherwise, my friend and I thought what we ordered would be included in the overly expensive package we purchased. Not the case! We were handed a check at the end of the night! Such a scam. And the town closes up shop at 8 pm so we were left with nothing to do. What a nightmare.
