Description

Circa 1892. Take time to slow down at this Victorian inn located one block off historic Route 6 in Port Allegany, Pennsylvania. The heritage property features an oversized banker's door, oak staircase, and pressed tin style ceiling. A cozy library offers classic board games and a "take one, leave one" policy for the paperback books filling the shelves. Guests often share stories or watch movies around the fireplace in the parlor. The afternoon sun dances through original stained glass windows in the dining room and candles are lit on the front porch after dusk setting the scene for guests to unwind after a day of sightseeing. Savor a three-course breakfast or request to have a breakfast basket delivered to your room. Hand-crocheted afghans and bathrobes provide extra comfort in the guest rooms. Spread out in one of three suites with a kitchen and living room. Pet-free and pet-friendly rooms and suites are available.

Great place for a getaway!

We felt welcomed from the moment that we arrived. We were treated like family and ours hosts could not have been friendlier. They provided us with information about the area and the breakfast was wonderful.
