Describe Garden and Grounds |
We have huge, mature oaks, fountains, a pond, various sitting areas, English garden, a hammock, an a vegetable and an herb garden for cooking, and, of course, lavenders. A large outdoor gazebo is in the back of the property. There are intimate nooks to sit and relax throughout the gardens. |

Usually over age 10 for the consideration of our adult guests. However, exceptions are made for family reunions or use of the cottage. Park is one block away. All ages welcomed in the Provence Cottage. |

Historic Interest | Lavender Inn was originally the first schoolhouse in the town of Nordoff, which was changed to Ojai during World War 2. It was later the home of the Ojai mayor then later Ojai Manor Hotel. In 1996 it was converted to a Bed & Breakfast renamed to Moons Nest Inn. The Hartleys bought the buildings in 2003 and changed the name to Lavender Inn, lovingly remodeling through the years. Historic Awards:
