Circa 1886. Enjoy a taste of the Old West at this working horse ranch. The Lazy Ranch is the only original homestead left in the Vail Valley. A variety of animals, including chickens, peacocks, Porkchop the pig, rabbits, dogs and cats create the authentic farm atmosphere. Hearty country breakfasts are served with farm-fresh eggs. The innkeepers offer bonfires, barbecues and barn dances to make your country vacation complete. Couples might enjoy moonlight horseback rides accompanied by a romantic dinner. Innkeeper Buddy Calhoun's "Cowboy" artwork is displayed in a converted bunk house, which now serves as an art studio.
