Description

Circa 1837. It's not hard to understand why Dr. John Everett, the son of Thomas Jefferson's physician, chose this picturesque, Blue Ridge Mountain setting for his home. Everett expanded the simple, four-room farmhouse already present into a gracious manor. The well-appointed guest rooms feature double whirlpool baths, double showers or a clawfoot tub. Beds are covered with vintage linens, feather pillows and cozy, down comforters. There are plenty of relaxing possibilities, including five porches and a hammock set among the trees.

Can't say enough good things about our trip

I thoroughly appreciated the way you worked with us to honor our Groupon, even though its date had expired. I'm so very glad we were able to stay there and we can't say enough good things about our trip, your Inn and the restaurant you recommended. Thank you so very much!

Best B&B So far

Wonderful Inn, fantastic bedroom, great breakfast, awesome hosts. I have only been to three other B&B's in my life and this was as good or better than two! It was lovely. My wife and I would like to return again.

Perfect Fall Weekend

Thank you for being wonderful hosts....It was a perfect fall weekend! We enjoyed Rafi's creative cuisine and Leslie's warmth and attention to detail. The tiger Lily room was a warm, bright cove to sleep....wonderful with the full moon in the window at night. Everything was quaint yet quiet and private....all the indulgent necessities for relaxation!.. It was a true break from our intense daily lives and we thank you!
