Perfect Little Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed the "all" of this experience, rain and all. The Paulownia Cottage was a perfect little getaway. The meals ever so delicious that we didn't want to go anywhere else to eat! And we met wonderful new friends too.

Felt Like Home

We have discovered a treasure!

Wonderful experience

Best Bed and Breakfast hands down.

Breakfast was delicious. Such a beautiful, restful place. We enjoyed watching the birds, the soft, sweet music and the dogs and the cat. It all gives such a peaceful feeling. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

Elegant Mountain Getaway!

We had a wonderful time at The Orchard Inn. I wish we could stayed longer. From the time we came in the front door we were greeted with a cold drink and sweet goodies were waiting on our bed. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very quaint. The next morning we had a delicious full breakfast that was fabulous. My only regret is that we couldn't have stayed longer.

Cozy mountain getaway

We enjoyed a relaxing 2 night stay and were very impressed with the service, cleanliness, and the amazing gourmet breakfasts! The location is right in the heart of a quaint mountain town and is only a short drive up to Asheville and many other attractions. There are some modern amenaties, such as wifi and a large TV (downstairs), but the appeal for us was the chance to escape from the business of life and spend a few days of quiet relaxation in the mountains. Marc and Marianne provided just that at the Orchard Inn.

A great get-away spot!

We spent our wedding anniversary at the Orchard Inn and could not have picked a better spot. The inn sits atop a mountain with beautiful views to the east and south. The sunrise out of the window of our cozy bedroom was spectacular! Marc and Marianne make everyone feel right at home and Marianne's meals are to die for! Whether you are coming for a night or a week, you will love The Orchard Inn.

Charming Inn in a Beautiful Setting

We had a lovely time at the Orchard Inn in Saluda, NC. The owners were excellent hosts. They made us feel welcome without ever interrupting our privacy. The inn is handsome with a large central room where we felt comfortable hanging out and visiting. The front porch with its many rocking chairs is charming, as is the breakfast porch where we enjoyed views of the mountains in the distance. The breakfast offerings were ample and delicious. The garden and grounds are quite special and the bedrooms were simple, but very comfortable. We would highly recommend this inn.

relaxing and peaceful

What a picturesque occasion! Marc and Marianne welcomed my beautiful wife and I so warmly as they hosted our wedding ceremony. The brisk weather and reminisce of the light snow that crept across the mountains the night before did not halt the accommodations that were set for us. Every last minute detail, itinerary, even meals were so graciously arranged to make our special day run so untroubled and without worry. “So relaxing and peaceful” were the perfect words our 6 year old stated as we read a book and enjoyed the toasty fireplace inside the cozy ‘Boxwood’ cabin. Marianne and her staff put together a fantastic dinner and breakfast menu. The food was exceptional and the service to match. They provided for us a deliciously beautiful wedding cake and sweet sparkling cider to toast our love and joyous future together. Sally, Grayson and I cannot wait to make this an annual destination where intimacy is complimented so perfectly by the splendid surrounding and generous hosts. Thank-you Marc and Marianne!

Beautiful, Delicious, Peaceful

The main building sits on top of a secluded hill, overlooking what is seemingly an untouched foothill/mountain landscape. Beautiful grounds compliment every view you take in. The food is delicious, professionally prepared, and kindly served. You really do get an "escape" when you visit here, and I would encourage anyone and everyone to take an opportunity to visit.

Orchard Inn...Fantastic B&B

My friend, Patty, and I did a get-away to NC. I googled where to stay, and we decided to try The Orchard Inn. This was our first visit, and it TOTALLY exceeded any and all expectations. We stayed for 5 nights. It was the most perfect change of "pace and place." We had a great cottage with fireplace and private porch over-looking the apple orchards and mountains. The hiking was wonderful...it helped justify the exquisite gourmet breakfasts. We indulged ourselves with a special dinner at the Inn...unbelievably delicious. The staff were caring...the cleanliness was immaculate. The Innkeepers, Marc & Marianne Blazar, were as nice and hospitable and accommodating as could be...they genuinely are passionate about everything they do and how they do it...it is sooooo nice to see people dedicated to bringing joy to others. We will DEFINITELY RETURN, and we are RAVING FANS. My friend and I have traveled the world for the past 30 years and have stayed in some of the best places because our profession is working with the luxury segment of the hospitality industry, so we know and greatly appreciate quality, service, sincerity and authenticity. We were totally amazed and ever so pleased with EVERYTHING at The Orchard Inn. Many thanks to Marc and Marianne and their team for their passion to please. We would highly recommend The Orchard Inn to the discriminating traveler who knows and wants quality.
