Description

Circa 1913. Located in the center of Fryeburg, Maine, the stately Oxford House was built in 1913. It is surrounded by mountains, lakes and rivers. The comfortable inn welcomes business and leisure travelers as well as family vacationers. Elegant guest bedrooms feature private baths. Linger over a superb breakfast in the glassed-in dining room overlooking the White Mountains and the Saco River Valley. Boasting a reputation for being among the Valley's best gourmet dining with a 50-seat restaurant, nighttime meals are creative culinary delights. Reservations are required. 2-night stay required most weekends in summer & fall.

Cancellation

A deposit equal to one night's room and tax for stays of 1-3 nights, 50% of total reservation for 4+ nights or the complete package price, whichever is applicable, is required to confirm your reservation and will be charged to your credit card. In the event of a cancellation, your deposit will be refunded less a $25 cancellation charge up to 14 days prior to arrival. Cancellations received within the 14 day window will be refunded less the cancellation charge, only if we are able to rebook the room for the length of original reservation. We are a small hotel, so we never overbook.

All I Had Hoped for and More!

I have enjoyed dinner here in the past, but was finally able to book a room as well! It was all I had hoped for and more. Beautiful home, gardens, delicious food, lovely staff. Can't wait until next time...
