Description

Circa 1751. Since 1751, generations of innkeepers, including Captain Jonas Smith, the Melvilles and the Roberts have managed this Long Island colonial inn. The original part of the inn is a tavern room, the Sandbar. Good food, twilight walks by the marina and Laura Ashley decorated guest rooms make for a refreshing getaway.
