Elegant Taste

If you get the opportunity to converse with the proprietor Yvonne you will come away wishing you could spend more time at the Veranda House. It is just what we expect a great Bed and Breakfast to be, warm, friendly, and attractive to other interesting guests to interact with at breakfast. We delighted in the sumptuous breakfast. An Elegant place and Hostess.

Charming!

Our hostess was very accommodating, rescuing my husband and I after Beekman Arms made a mistake with our reservation. Our room was very comfortable, and quiet, and the breakfast was delicious. Will definitely stay at Veranda on our next trip back to the area.

Romantic & Charming !

The Veranda House is one of the loveliest inns I have had the pleasure to experience! The inn is a beautiful period home with charm and comfort. Yvonne Sarn, the innkeeper, is very accommodating and prepares a sumptuous breakfast every day! This inn is a must on your next visit to Rhinebeck, NY!

Great place!

We have stayed twice at Veranda House, this year and last. We like it very much. Breakfasts are delicious, the decor is very Victorian but not over the top. We've stayed twice in the Chrysanthemum room. It's gorgeous.

Good time

A well kept, beautiful inn with a lovely innkeeper. Great conversation and delicious breakfasts. The inn is perfectly located in the village, so you can walk to the shops, farm markets, restaurants and more. We had a great time and will be back.

Lovely B&B in historic village

A lovely, quiet B&B, just a few minutes walk from the historic village of Rhinebeck (which has some great places for lunch and dinner). Yvonne, the owner of Veranda House, is a terrific lady, originally from England. She made us feel very welcome. The room we stayed in (Forget-me-not) was charming and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious! Highly recommended.

A Magical Stay!

We just got back from the Veranda House Bed and Breakfast in Rhinebeck, NY, and could not wait to sit down and write a review! It truly is the "bed and breakfast" at its best: the most elegant and authentically refined old world, graceful arrangement. Our stay was just magical!! Everything was coordinated to perfection, from the very tasteful and beautiful Victorian decor, the most comfortable high mattresses (in the Ivy room), no noise leading to restful sleep, and delicious full daily breakfasts. The innkeeper, Yvonne Sarn, was so knowledgeable, accommodating, pleasant, and entertaining~we felt like honored family members~ and did not want to leave. The historical Inn is centrally located in the town of Rhinebeck NY, allowing one to walk to its many attractions or drive a short distance to the historical mansions and many other attractions in this gorgeous district. We already miss it, and cannot wait to return. Chantal And Joe, New York, NY.

Wonderful Stay!

My husband and I came for our 4oth Bard reunion and could not have been more pleased with Veranda House. Yvonne is lovely and serves a breakfast like no other. In courses, no less! We had a wonderful stay and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys old world charm, style and service.

Lovely

A girl's getaway at the Veranda House was a wonderful treat. The Inn is comfortable and homey, with nicely decorated rooms, and a parlor that's private and perfect for wine and cheese. Wonderful breakfasts! Perfect location, as you can walk into town and to a variety of restaurants. A short distance from Hyde Park.
