Pure Zen. At it's finest
This place is simply magical! And I’m not one to write reviews of anything, but felt compelled after an amazing experience here. You are in the heart of a rain forest surrounded by beautiful flora, fauna and massive moss covered trees that have been carefully preserved.
There is definitely a Zen quality to this place. The Lodges are completely separate from the main lodge and connected by a series of covered walkways. The architecture is beautiful half timbers with large proportioned glass to capture the feeling of being amongst nature.
The private Jacuzzi pavilion is very intimate and relaxing complete with private shower and wash room.
The Innkeeper is one of the sweetest and most fascinating person I’ve met in a while, and we enjoyed sharing thoughts over some wine and cheese that she offers at tea time or in the evenings.
Your private lodge is stocked with fresh mangos, tropical fruit, an assortment of scones, muffins, biscotti, cereal, tropical juices, coffee and tea (replenished daily) to amp you up for a day of exploring Hawaii or soaking up the serenity of the lodge. Dig into a fresh mango with some local Kona coffee while the smells of fresh cut orchids infuse your senses. Take another sip as you slip deeper into your chair, comfortably snuggled in your cozy bathrobe and cushy slippers. You may not leave this place all day.
The price is an incredible value and considering the type of accommodations and amenities it would easily go for $300-$400. Whatever the price it’s a must experience.
