Romantic- Amazing location

My husband and I went to the Wilburton for the fourth of July weekend. The inn is reached via a winding driveway, up on top of a hill. The lawns are green and endless, like something out of an English movie. We strolled the estate, discovering flower gardens, unusual sculptures and an organic vegetable patch, which is part of their farm. The main part of the inn is an elegant mansion, with marble window sills and oriental carpets. Most rooms overlook the valley, with endless views. I could sit on that marble terrace forever.

Disappointing

It lacked the charm I expect from inns and lodges. It was a little shabby - as if it had seen better days. I recall the dining aea at breakfast being a bit dusty/dirty. We were up and about around 7 and the breakfast wasn't quite laid out yet.
