We love the Ann Street Inn!

This place is soooo gorgeous. Oh my gosh! I wished we lived here. The whirlpool was so relaxing. I love the black and white toile. The breakfast was wonderful. I never had curried fruit or fried grits before. Donna you are a warm and gracious host-we felt like family! Thank you so much. We will definitely be back.Claire

We'll be back

We had a wonderful weekend. The room is sunny and delightful and the food was the best ever. Yet none of this can compare to the warmth and friendship. We feel like family.

Romantic get away

This was our second stay at Ann Street and we will be back again! Our hostess, Donna is wonderful! She makes us feel so at home but at the same time allowing us plenty of privacy. We have stayed at several other bed and breakfasts but this is by far our favorite. The food is out of this world. And it Donna and Joe are so much fun!

Wonderful Anniversary

We were celebrating our 25th Wedding Anniversary, and we were very pleased with our choice to stay at the Ann Street Inn. From the moment we arrived, Donna made us feel right at home. The Duke of Beaufort Room was most comfortable, and the jacuzzi was perfect. The breakfasts were divine, especially the fried grits. We also enjoyed meeting some of Donna's friends and sharing drinks and pimento cheese on the front porch. Donna has created a great oasis in beautiful Beaufort, North Carolina. Her southern charm and hospitality are the epitome of America's #1 Small Town. We would not hesitate to book another stay at the Ann Street Inn. It totally lived up to its wonderful reviews! Loved It

My husband and I stayed in the off season and had the best time with the owner/manager....It was just us 2 and her it was nothing but warm welcomes from all the regulars that live there and we felt like part of the family. We just booked a reservation for our 11th anniversary so I am very excited to see how it is in the peak season. And it is a close drive we live in Jacksonville Nc. The Foxes

Janet & David

What a delightful fine. Not being from the area Donna and even her other guest were so friendly and helpful in pointing out local treasures. The dining, boat and sightseeing were wonderful. The Inn itself is a jewel box. The porch was an added bonus as were the homemade breakfasts. I'm hoping she writes a cookbook. Location is great all you have to do is walk when you stay here. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Best Inn Ever

I stayed at Ann Street Inn with Donna mid August 2012 and had the best time. My fiance and I stayed in the Queen Ann suite and enjoyed the peaceful quiet nights where we slept like babies. Every morning at nine we were greeted with a delicious chef style cajun breakfast. The blueberry dump coffee cake is to die for, it should be a desert. The days are great and the weather is perfect. We had a great time at Shackleford Banks island. However nothing could beat the comfort and tranquility of sitting on the front porch and chatting with the entertaining and gregarious locals. I know your stay will be as great as ours because Donna treats everyone like her own. Enjoy your stay.

Anniversary weekend

One night visit on our way through the Emerald Isle. From the time we walked in the door we were treated like family. Donna has such a welcoming personality and the rooms are all spectacular. We especially loved the porch all the great neighbors who stopped by to visit. Fabulous breakfast, and we were told a cookbook is being published of these great treats. We really didn't want to leave. Making plans for our return trip.

Sweetest B&B ever!

My husband and I stayed at the Ann Street Inn this past weekend. It was our 1st B&B experience and I have to say, this was fantastic. Donna is so sweet, it's like being with family. The Inn is in beautiful condition, the beds (Priscilla Potter room) was SO comfy, and the hospitality couldn't be beat. We cannot wait to return and have another trip to Beaufort and stay again!

We'll be back

Adopted granddaughter, Kassie, and I enjoyed a Spring Break evening with Donna at her B&B. After a long drive in pouring rain, she greeted me with a glass of wine and plenty of cookies for Kassie. Gracious hospitality, a tasty send-off breakfast and an open door for friends to stop by. A word of warning to anyone who loves games - she's competitive and dreams of Rummycard moves in her head. We'll return soon to enjoy the sites in and around Beaufort -- and book a room at Ann St. Inn.

InnSide Tip - Leisure breakfast
Enjoy a leisure breakfast before taking a ride on the Water Bug with Cap't Bob, stroll through the Burying Ground, spend quality time in the museum and don't miss the Fort. A new olive oil and balsamic vinegar store has recently opened - excellent tasting.
