Best ever!

Our stay at the Bath Street Inn was delightful. We had the Summer Room, top floor; quiet, lovely and a charming sitting area near our room. Books and movies are plentiful. Breakfasts are sumptuous and healthy, beautifully presented, and you are treated to afternoon tea with homemade desserts(Marty's choc. cake--yum); later wine and cheese. Walk it off since State Street is closeby making the Inn's location ideal. We plan to return. The roooms are all so pretty, hard to choose, but the Wedgewood Room is a top contender for another time.

Best there is!

Bath Street Inn I stay here at least 3 times a year on business. The rooms are very comfortable. The food is bountiful & exquisite. The staff make this a must stay; from the owners to the inn keepers they make you want to come back often! Laura

Great place / Great food

Really enjoyed our stay in the 3rd floor "inexpensive" Wedgewood Room. Not big but truly comfortable. Loved access through the back stairs. Breakfast was unique every day, loved meeting other guests at tea and wine/cheese/pastry in the afternoon. Located far enough from downtown, but close enough to walk or take bus. Service excellent and friendly; help with finding sites was also excellent. The afternoon smells coming from the kitchen will drive you crazy with memories. Hint: if you have food allergies make them known at reservation time to avoid conflicts. Much better than the big corporate hotel down the street that points you to an Ihop for breakfast. Look forward to going back!

Best B&B anywhere

We highly recommend the Bath Street Inn. Everything, from the comfort of the room, to the beauty of the garden, to the excellence of the food, to the friendliness and helpfullness of the wonderful hosts, was way beyond compare. We felt immediately at home in our beautiful room, the parlour and the dinning room. When you are a guest you feel right at home form the start: backdoor entrance through the delicious smelling kitchen; incredible breakfasts; cozy tea time; relaxing wine and cheese; evening decadent treats. One of our traveling companions has already booked a return trip, not even a week after leaving Santa Barbara. We can't wait to return.

Fantastic stay!

We only stayed here for one night, but had a most wonderful time. The Inn feels like a home and the hosts - Marie and Deborah are soooo hospitable. Afternoon tea, wine with cookies and cake; a fabulous room (Partridge Room) ask for that one; an abundant breakfast, and a good quiet location. Do check it out! Nelson and Jim

charming and very homey

This is our third stay at the Bath Street Inn. Every year my daughter and I come to Santa Barbara for a few days, and our choice is to stay here. Marie and Debra the owners are very gracious and the food is fabulous, and the are willing to share their recipes. They are always available to help with directions and give advice on restaurants. Count me in for next year.

Wonderful

Just returned home from a wonderful 4 day stay at the Bath Street Inn. Not only was the house charming but the innkeepers went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The food was delicious with ample servings of everything. We especially liked parking our car on the off street parking space and walking everywhere!

Charming, peaceful and delicious!

The Bath Street Inn is charming, cozy and welcoming, both in its ambience and its hosts. The food-- from afternoon tea, evening wine and cheese, or the sumptuous breakfast -- is delicious and elegantly served. My husband and I look forward to our annual stay there, and we've never been disappointed. Each time brings a new memory.

WOW ! A TRUE GEM !!!!!

We spent 2 days at this unique and special inn. The rooms are not only well appointed, they are imaculately clean and comfortable. Marie and Deborah and their staff will make your stay a pleasure. Breakfast is a wonderfull delight, and the goodies that they bake daily will tempt you to sample each and every item. Tea, coffee, and a daily taste of the grape with cheese are all a treat. An easy walk to town to many excellent restaurants, and a short trolley ride to the beach make for a memorable experience. You will not be dissapointed

FABULOUS!!!!!

Place was very clean, staff was wonderful and the food was AMAZING!! I had a fabulous jacuzzi tub in my room and was so relaxed! I slept great! I felt very comfortable. The decor is a little out date-ish but that is the charm of the place and teh house has great history. Just because it is old does not mean run down. Very clean adn very nice! And walking distance to many things on State Street. I am looking forward to staying there again!
