Circa 1898. Walk to local shops and restaurants while staying at this conveniently located 1898 inn that graces the downtown historic district. Private, off-street parking is available. The warm and inviting ambiance is accented with chestnut woodwork, family heirlooms and selected antiques. Relax on the porch with lemonade and homemade cookies or sip hot-spiced cider in one of the two parlors. Distinctive guest bedrooms including a two-room suite with a private porch and clawfoot tub are named after the states represented in the battle at Gettysburg. An adjacent 1830 home has been recently restored and boasts two rooms, a fireplace, porch and private entrance. Savor a complete breakfast each morning that includes a hot entrée, homemade muffins, fresh fruits and the inn's signature Pennsylvania Dutch Shoo Fly Pie. Visit nearby Civil War art galleries and the National Park Visitors Center.

A rose is a rose

We stayed here two years ago while visiting the battlefields of Gettysburg. we stay in B&B's whenever we travel and this is probably one of the nicest! Gorgeous rose bushes surround the property enhancing the delightful experience of sipping a cold drink on the welcoming porch watching the world go by. The accommodations are spacious and well-appointed. Every morning we were treated to a sumptuous home made southern breakfast. the Brickhouse Inn is conveniently located in town and very close to the battlegrounds. Highly recommend it!
