Circa 1810. This inviting Federal-style home remains much as it did in the 19th century, including the original 12-over-12 windows and a beehive oven. The home's historic flavor has been diligently preserved and the original five fireplaces, handsome wide pine floors, restored moldings and exposed beams add to the warm and cozy interior. Air-conditioned guest bedrooms feature warm quilts on comfortable beds and private baths. On the first floor a guest bedroom is entirely handicapped accessible. A full and hearty breakfast is offered daily and includes specialties such as Blueberry French Toast or Sausage and Brie Casserole. Situated in Camden, the Captain Swift Inn is centrally located on the Mid-Coast of Maine to easily explore all that this scenic state has to offer.

Comfy, Cozy

My husband and I and two other couples stayed here in August and had a fantastic time. We were warmly welcomed, had great rooms, and wonderful breakfasts! As soon as you walk through the door you immediately feel at home. A great getaway!
