The scenic mountain community of Cascade is located among the Pike Peak foothills, a few minutes away from Colorado Springs. Cascade got its name from nearby waterfalls, and serves as the front door to Pikes Peak. It is believed that every year, Cascade receives about half a million visitors. Most tourists drop by Cascade to enjoy the cool and refreshing waters of Cascade Falls Park. In the Park, you can hike the falls trail that will take you up to the last in a series of seven waterfalls, full of snowmelt off the icy mountains.
