Staying with Friends
Diane and Tammy were friendly and generous. The food was delicious and endless. We loved the room and the location made it easy to visit the city entirely on foot. Great recommendations by Diane for how and where to go in Savannah. We will return.

My husband planned this trip as an anniversary surprise and he could not have chosen more wisely! The hospitality at the Green Palm Inn was matched only by the delicious breakfast. The location was perfect and it has become my new favorite vacation destination!

Royal Palm Suite is amazing
My husband and I stayed in the Royal Palm Suite for 4 nights and it was wonderful. Diane and her staff are great, the Inn is beautiful and located within walking distance of all the wonders downtown Savannah has to offer, and there are always fresh baked cookies and cold bottles of water. Breakfasts were good and filling, usually wearing off just in time for the 4-6 pm wine and cheese the Green Palm provides. Had a lovely stay, highly recommended.

GPI is a gem
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at green palm Inn in Savannah and would recommend this BnB highly. Diane was so kind and personable and her inn is spotless. The breakfast were wonderful and the afternoon social hour was great. The sweets buffet is available all day and night. A wonderful experience that we will return for.

Savannah Girls' Getaway
Once we initially found the location of the inn when we arrived in Savannah, it was impossible to miss it any time we were out . Diane had decorated the outside stair railing with orange net garland and lights. This special touch made the Green Palm Inn easy to find and feel even more welcoming. Cheryl greeted us when we arrived, helped us get settled in, and then gave us a map and detailed review of Savannah attractions and restuarants. Our room, the Royal Palm room, was beautiful and comfortable. The next morning we met Diane, one of the owners, and were treated to a fabulous breakfast that she prepared, as she does every morning. As we planned our day, she answered questions, advised us on the best tours and restaurants and made our dinner reservations for us while we were out. Each room of guests has their own key so going out and coming back in at one's own schedule is no problem. The next morning, our last day there, we were treated to another wonderful breakfast and directions for one last sightseeing stop on the way out of Savannah. It was a wonderful little weekend escape from reality and I would definitely stay at the Green Palm Inn again!

An amazing experience
Just wanted to say Thank you so much for all your hospitality and a job well done at the Green Palm Inn. Previously we had never stayed at bed and breakfasts’ and quite frankly avoided it however, you have made us believers and gave us the perfect stay that will now be a new level that other B &B’s will have to measure up to. The staff is very informative about the area as you will want to walk, extremely accomodating as we had a few dietary issues you couldn't ask for a better place to stay as they made their house, our house. The Inn is located on the southern tip of the historic district so it's quieter, and that was so much better than even 2 blocks away, it can get loud downtown. You'll love it.

wonderful wedding experience
My fiancé and I had our beautiful wedding on New Year's Eve & stayed at the Green Palm. Diane and her staff were wonderful! They surprised us after the ceremony we had in Green Square with a bottle of delicious champagne! The Inn is very charming and the breakfast was outstanding! And the afternoon array of snacks was absolutely fantastic! Everyone was so friendly, things all went just perfectly. We highly recommend staying here!

A delightment stay
Just stayed 3 nights at the Green Palm Inn and really enjoyed it. Diane and her staff make everything so perfect for their guests. Breakfast was really nice and they put out wine and H'doeuvers at 4pm. Cookies, coffee, candy and water seem to be available all the time. The staff and the Inn make you feel so comfortable. Would definitely go back, would just like better weather next time as unfortunately we caught a cold spell. Even the great staff cannot do anything about Mother Nature.

May 2014 visit to Savannah
Just stayed 3 nights at the Green Palm Inn the 1st weekend of May. Diane, Sheryl and her staff make everything really special for their guests. Breakfast was great and the wine and H'doeuvers at 4pm was a welcome treat after touring all day. It is located in a nice, quiet part of the city yet an easy walk to everywhere. Would definitely go back again.

Highly recommend
My significant other and I just returned from a 4 day trip in historic Savannah. Part of what we so enjoyed was staying at the Green Palm Inn. Diane is a wonderful hostess. Her breakfast dishes are fabulous and we really enjoyed our happy hour every night with the other guests. Diane will steer you in all the right directions, which is something you don't get staying in someone's rental through VRBO.

A Savannah Bargain
My husband and I spent three nights at the Green Palm Inn earlier this month, and we enjoyed it very much. It was an extremely good value, significantly less expensive than other B&Bs in the historic district. We didn’t need a car, since the rest of the district, as well as the riverfront, were within easy walking distance. The inn is in a quiet neighborhood just off Greene Square. Rooms are equipped with a coffee maker (as well as real cups, not Styrofoam), and a refrigerator with a generous supply of complimentary bottled water that is replenished daily. Hostess Diane McCray is an adopted daughter of Savannah, and she obviously enjoys promoting the virtues of the city. She recommended restaurants, made (and changed) dinner reservations, helped us decide whether to rent a car, and marked a map with all the places we told her we were most interested in visiting. The house is filled with palm tree items—the blades of our ceiling fan were shaped like palm fronds, and when we had to leave for the airport too early to have a sit-down breakfast on our final morning, she provided a picnic box that included napkins with a palm tree motif. Home-made snacks and wine are laid out in the dining room from 4 to 6 p.m. and guests are welcome to use the comfortable living room whenever they like. We found it a delightful illustration of Southern hospitality.
