Description

Circa 1903. Downtown Guthrie is steeped in history and this inn follows suit as an enduring landmark of the town. More than 100-years-old, the Sneed-Coffin Building stands tall across the street from the Pollard Theater. The guest suites offer a soft, modern décor with vintage accents including exposed brick walls. Bedrooms separate from the living area ensure a cozy night's rest. Nibble on a continental breakfast in the suite each morning and store favorite snacks in the convenient kitchenette. The unique bed warmers program enables guests to borrow one of the resident dogs to snuggle or to take for a walk around the neighborhood. The town was the original capitol of Oklahoma and is now home to many festivals and parades but you can celebrate the American Frontier anytime on a trolley or horse and carriage ride. Restaurants, shops, and live theater are all within walking distance. Three PGA courses are nearby and the temperate climate enables golfers to work on their game year-round.

Bring your all your friends and family (seriously)

My girlfriend and I had a great time at the stone lion. The staff was friendly, and the food good. We sprung for the larger room, and have no regrets. But do know, no tv, or wifi, etc. That may matter to you, but really--its super nice to get away from all that stuff for awhile. I would really recommend you come with your family and friends though-- essentially you'll be stuck with the people you do the event with. Not necessarily a bad thing, but it is a total crap shoot. We had a great time at the dinner--do dress up--but after it's all done, all the staff leaves. SO you're pretty much stuck with the other people staying in the house. The people we were with got a little rowdy and drunk--and for obvious reasons we were glad we locked the door, because the house does beg to be explore. Aside from that it was all a pretty fun time, and if you're nearby you'll likely have a great time too.

Fantastic experience!!

We had an absolutely amazing time at the Stone Lion Inn for the murder mystery experience!! We cannot wait to go back! The food was great, staff was awesome!! Overall great time!!

Stone Lion Inn Guthrie - WOW

Great weekend get-away! Beautiful rooms, fantastic food. The owner and hosts are engaging and fun entertainment. My fiance and I choose this based on a review and every minute was worth it. The guests were as entertaining as the hosts and we are looking forward to our next visit! This is a definite must try!

Stone Lion Inn Murder Mystery Dinner

This was my first murder mystery, and it was a great time! My date and I stayed in "The Parlor" room. The service was great and the history of the bed and breakfast was really cool to learn about. The owner of the property told stories while we had breakfast and was very entertaining. Overall a great experience and we will definitely be back!
