Romantic Interest

Our guest rooms encourage you to relax and get comfortable from the moment you arrive, and there are cozy places to relax and sit with your sweetheart. Our inn is a very quiet and peaceful place. The cupola at the top of the house gives you a nice view of the ocean and town. A great spot for sipping champagne or your morning cup of tea or coffee.

Wonderful!

I have been fortunate to be able to visit here twice and have loved both times. The rooms are decorated as one would think a New England home should be. The Inn is located in easy walking distance to the shore and shops. John is a gracious host and Tobey makes the best scones I have ever eaten. I can't wait to go back.

sitting under the linden tree...

what a lovely break from the usual touring grind... as tour manager for the manhattan transfer, i'm no stranger to staying in hotels. usually big name chain hotels, hiltons, marriotts, etc... this weekend we played the rockport music hall and had the great fortune to be put up at the lovely linden tree inn. the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted and treated to perhaps the most delicious, fresh, warm blueberry scones i've ever had... after the performances, we returned to the inn to enjoy a beautiful glass of wine under the linden tree. crawled into bed and enjoyed a peaceful and quiet night of rest. felt like home. which, after weeks and week on the road - feels amazing! thank you tobey and john! hope to come back one day! =)

Warm scones/big smiles

The Linden Tree Inn is ideally located on a quiet side street with plenty of parking. Just a short walk are the shops, restaurants and the beach. The owners, Tobey and John make sure that your stay is as comfortable as possible. Warm homemade scones are an added delight with breakfast and bring smiles to all. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxing.

Relaxed, Warm, Comfortable

It has been many years since I first began staying at this charming Inn. How fortunate I was to have discovered such a warm and inviting place to stay, The staff are all friendly and accommodating. I would describe the Linden Tree, as a a sense of being home without any of the responsibility. Each year, I am greeted with a smile and a warm hug, by the innkeepers, John and Tobey. John and Tobey take the time to really get to know their guests. It is no wonder that year after year, people continue to return to the Linden Tree Inn.

First Time in Rockport and a B & B!

Tobey and John are wonderful. Very friendly and helpful. My teenage daughter and I took a road trip to Salem & decided to see what Rockport was all about. We had no reservations, stopped at the Tuck Inn and the Innkeeper called around for us, what a great surprise. She talked to Tobey who had a room! We had a great time and now I think we have found our new favorite place, can't wait to bring the rest of the family up to Rockport! Thank you so much for welcoming us in to your Inn! See you soon!!!

Great place to have a team meeting!

I recently held my team meeting at the Linden Tree Inn and Tobey (innkeeper) and her staff made the entire experience wonderful! Her warm hospitality, great cooking and thoughtfulness shined throughout out time there. The quaint and peaceful setting made a very busy meeting enjoyable and fun. I highly recommend her to anyone traveling through or near Rockport, MA. She is AWESOME!
