So grateful to find this place on our Thelma and Louise adventure.2016. What a coincidence that in reading through the guest book, we noticed that in Sept. 2015 two other ladies also wrote this was their Thelma and Louise trip as well. We loved the mansion and our room. The breakfast was one of a kind and the service was amazing. We are sad to leave but we will put the top down on the car and be on our way but planning on returning again. next time we decide we need to take some time away.

Historic Character

We absolutely enjoyed the character and history of the Mansion! The tour was wonderful (as were the chocolate chip cookies!). We had a morning around the historic downtown. Next trip, we are going to enjoy a bottle of wine on the third floor balcony. We thank the Nagle for being such a wonderful and pet friendly B&B. Colorado 10/29/16

F.E. Warren Room

Our first stay in a Bed and Breakfast and it was a magical! We both enjoyed our tour and the history of the mansion and especially the view from the tower and the very restful sleep we experienced. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast and visiting with the other guests around the table. Being from Ohio it was amazing to experience a taste of the west and the plains. Thanks to Jim and his staff for a wonder time in Cheyenne.

Erasmus Nagle Room

After my flight from Seattle landed in Denver my drive found me parking in front of what appeared to be a Castle. As I walked up the steps, I thought I'm in a Disney movie as I was being welcomed by a big grey cat sitting on the porch by the front door. As I entered I was shocked to see a portrait of a young Chinese lady on the wall. I felt like I was walking back in time to 1888. It felt like I was back in the old days of the west in the USA. When i was a child in China I had seen movies of such places. My stay was enhanced by the wonderful and friendly staff. It was a wonderful experience to walk back in time.

Black Jack Room

This was our first stop on our two week adventure for our 5th Anniversary and my husband's 50th Birthday celebration. We couldn't have asked for a better and romantic place. The house is amazing and so are the staff and Jim. Loved meeting sweet Sugarfoot and exploring the mansion and town. We look forward to hopefully getting back here again for another celebration. The Mansion and the staff made our experience beyond our expectations and we cannot wait to tell everyone back home about our experience and what a wonderful place the Nagle Warren Mansion B&B is! A+++ in our book.

This was the first stop on our two week adventure for our 5th wedding anniversary and my husbands 50th birthday celebration. We could not have asked for a better and romantic place. The house is amazing and so are the staff. Loved meeting sweet Sugar Foot and exploring the town. We look forward to getting back to Cheyenne with more time to explore reconnoitering more of the history. The Nagle went above and beyond our expectations and we can’t wait to tell everyone we know about this wonderful place. Nebraska

Barbara Room

When I first saw this room " The Barbara", I immediately thought of Shirley Temple in " The Little Princess". The room was so charming I fell in love with it. The room is a stunning example of the period and a wonderful restoration with wonderful decor. We so wished we would have had more time to stay longer.

Five years ago today I proposed to my wife in this very suite. It was the best thing I ever did and when she said "Yes" it was incredible. So here five years later I surprised her with another night in the same room. What a beautiful room and what better place to share a special memory with a beautiful girl my Wife. Our time in the Mansion will always be special and Thanks to Jim and his Staff for always making us feel at home.

Too Short

Very nice place, and very professional staff. I arrived late and was pleasantly greeted by Trudy. She showed me around along with some history. Take a step out into the garden area and soak it in. A lot of history here – my stay was way too short. I’m almost certain that I heard a horse Winnie in the night and the sound of brass buckles with the smell of leather. Thanks to al the people of the Nagle Warren Mansion. Alaska

Secert tower

August 1, 2009 Several years ago when I first began dating my (at the time) boy friend, he lived across the street in a little apartment above the Deselm’s art studio. Each time to would visit him I would gaze out the window and think, “I wonder what those people are doing in the “secret tower”.” We talked several times of what we would do if we were in the “secret tower”. As our relationship progressed he moved out of that apartment. Yet each time I went downtown I always thought,” I wonder what goes on in that tower”. When my boyfriend proposed to me September 29, 2009 it was (at the time) the most special day of my life! We were certain we would fly off somewhere tropical to be married. After much discussion, we decided to be married right here in Cheyenne, Wyoming. During our planning, my fiancés mother suggested a stay here for us the night of our wedding. I thought,” Finally! I will know what goes on in the secret tower!” When I shared my thoughts I was told,” oh no that’s not a guest room it’s a reading room.” I was devastated, but thrilled to be staying anyway. So we were married last night and had the time of our lives, I can not believe I get to call this man my “husband.” We got the key yesterday afternoon, but did not come in until after the wedding. Imagine my surpise when I came in the room and after looking around, I looked out a window to find that I was in fact in the secret tower! This is a beautiful room I began gazing at almost four years ago. This has been a truly magical beginning to our lives together.

Francis room

June 19, 2007 Dear fellow travelers, I hope you enjoy your stay here in the Francis room. It is one of my favorite rooms. I have been coming for over 12 years and I’ve only been disappointed twice. Once when the mansion was full and I could not get a reservation, the other time was when I had to leave early and had to cancel the remainder of my stay. The food, service, and atmosphere are a delightful step back in time and is so relaxing you will not want to leave.

First trip

August 21, 2009 Our first visit to Cheyenne has proven to be very memorable. After spending the week moving our son to C.U. Boulder, we chose to spend our first night as “empty nesters” here at the Nagle Warren Mansion. The comfortable, homey surroundings and beautiful guest rooms have made this first night very relaxing. My husband’s family history begins here in Cheyenne as his father was stationed at Warren A.F.B in the late 40’s-early 50’s. We were able to find his parents first home and the birthplace of his brother. Also a train enthusiast, my husband marveled at the history of the railroad here in Cheyenne. Thank you for a wonderful night. Hope to be back soon.

not just an ordinary place

1/6/11 I came for business and was happy to find a B&B vs. a motel. I was more than pleasantly surprised at the accommodations. The breakfast has been phenomenal, much better than I anticipated. I’ve slept so well, I hung out at the mansion all week. That’s very different than I usually do. Normally, I’m looking at the town, museums, etc. This B&B has been good for my soul. Thanks for the warm welcome and serene atmosphere.

the honeymoon

Dec. 4, 2011 The mansion is the first stay in our honeymoon trip. We flew into Denver and decided we were too close to Wyoming not to make the trip up north. After these ”southerners” encountered snowfall and negative temperatures we found this beautiful house. The mansion is like stepping back in time. Awesome! Jim recommended “Sanfords” for dinner on a late Sunday night. Bring your appetite, because the servings are huge. The Francis room is beautiful and welcoming, including the rubber duckie! Breakfast was great, pumkin walnut pancakes with bacon. We had a wonderful stay!

murder mystery

March 4, 2006 What an amazing place, efficient staff and lovely host/guests. We came as a family this weekend to solve a murder mystery, as a celebration of my upcoming 4 yr. degree graduation from U.W. Thank you so much for giving my family such a fun, relaxing and yet exciting weekend together. Our world seems to fly by at such a fast pace. We lose sight of the important things in life like family, love, and living. Thank you for giving us a reminder of this, this weekend refreshed our minds and souls to return to the “hub-bub” of our daily routines. THANK YOU EVER SO MUCH!!

girls night

2/23/08 My mom and I came here for my 10th birthday. We got pedicures, and went into the hot tub here. We also went shopping, got candy, and watched movies. I have been here before with my godmother for tea (my mom came too), and it was awesome!! My dad and 2 brothers went to Wheatland for my big brothers b-ball game. So it was like a girls night out.

Beautiful class

The Nagel Warren Mansion is a step back in time to days long ago, where class and beauty come together to create an elegant vacation destination in Cheyenne, Wyoming. We go for "Tea" once a year just to experience the elegance of a time gone by. I'm looking forward to experiencing this Christmas Tea tradition! MLRex

Wedded Bliss

We were so fortunate to find this beautiful Mansion in which to have our intimate wedding (they have several plans to choose for your event) and spend our wedding night. Everything was just perfect and the next several days were greater than any honeymoon imaginable. The Mansion, staff, food and other guests made for a perfect wedding experience. Thanks Jim and Jane for making it so! We can't wait to return this July (2010) for our first anniversary!

InnSide Tip - Be Prepared To . . .
Change some travel plans. Once you're there and you see how wonderful it is, be prepared to want to stay longer. You won't be sorry. We were driving so we were able to change things up and stay to enjoy all there is to see during Cheyenne Frontier Days!

Beware

I reserved a specific room on their own website more than a month in advance of my stay. When I arrived, the owner Jim advised me I was in a different room than what I had originally reserved. When I questioned him as to why I wasn't getting the room I had reserved, he stated that you "cannot choose what room you want to stay in when you make a reservation" and asked what website I had used to make the reservation. You CAN choose what room you want to stay in when you make the reservation on their website. At breakfast I was introduced to another guest who stated he was a very old friend of the property owner Jim and he was in town. I guess I know who got the biggest and best room in the mansion that I had originally reserved. I wouldn't stay there again just based on the flat out lies I was told.
