Oregon Oregon Coast Bed & Breakfast Inns
The Oregon Coast offers something for everyone along 363 miles of coastline. There are lighthouses to explore, including the most westerly Cape Blanco Lighthouse which had Oregon's first female keeper. There's no need to go to Hollywood to celebrate movies, just visit the Oregon Film Museum to learn more about film-making in the state, including an entire gallery devoted to The Goonies. Visitors to the Brandy Peak Distillery can sample eight brandies and one liqueur. The distillery often takes customer feedback to heart to be sure to share your comments. The Oregon Coast is home to many Native American tribes. The Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians holds an annual Pow-Wow with dance competitions and a parade. Looking for Oregon wildlife? Harbor Seals can often be found sunning themselves at the Nestucca Spit at Bob Straub State Park. The Nestucca River is also the place to find 50-pound salmon. Those that are more interested in land animals may spot a majestic elk at the Dean Creek Elk Viewing Area. The area boasts a population of 120,000+ elk. The whole family can enjoy the Blue Heron French Cheese Company; after the adults sample the Blue Heron Brie, the kids can feed and pet the animals.Area Map
