Au Gratin Potatoes

4 large baking potatoes, cubed
1 medium onion, diced
salt and pepper to taste
2T chopped fresh rosemary
3T butter
3T all purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 cup milk
1 1/2 shredded cheddar cheese
3T shredded Parmesan

Preheat over to 350 degree
In am medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Mix in flour and 1/2 tsp salt, whisk for one minute or so till roux has formed. Whisk in milk and cook till thickened. Stir in cheese till melted, smooth and creamy.Mix cheese mixture with potatoes, add salt and pepper to taste.
Put in oiled baking dishes and cover with aluminum foil.
Bake 45 minutes. Remove foil and bake till golden brown and potatoes are tender.
